[[nl]]Consouling Sounds is een Belgische uitgeverij en platform voor experimentele muziek, opgericht in 2007. Consouling Sounds begon als een platenlabel gespecialiseerd in post-, doom- en ambientmuziek, maar evolueerde snel naar een artiestenbureau, twee zuster labels 9000 Records en Circuits, evenals een gevierde platenwinkel en coffeeshop in Gent. Het label heeft zijn activiteiten wereldwijd uitgebreid met een distributienetwerk dat Europa en de Verenigde Staten omvat. Gevormd door zijn niet-aflatende focus op het verkennen van de donkere, stemmige en hardere kanten van muziek, evenals door zijn solide stal van artiesten - waarvan het Belgische contingent lokale beroemdheden omvat als Barst, de portables, en natuurlijk Amenra -, de independend imprint voor wie stijl net zo cruciaal is als de trotse overtuiging dat het loont de status-quo in vraag te stellen.

Consouling Sounds began as a record label specializing in post, doom and ambient music, but quickly evolved to now include an artist management agency, two sister record label 9000 Records and Circuits as well as a celebrated record store and coffee shop in Ghent, Belgium. The label has expanded its business around the globe with a distribution network encompassing Europe and The United States. Shaped by its relentless focus on exploring the darker, moodier and harsher sides of music as well as by its solid stable of artists – whose Belgian contingent includes such local luminaries as By Barst, de portables, and of course, Amenra -, the independent imprint for whom style is just as crucial as substance stands proud as a testament that questioning the status-quo pays off.
